United States: Waste Management Company to Pay $81 Million in Bribery Probe

Waste management company, Stericycle, has revealed the details of a deal to pay out $81 million to US Authorities to resolve a recent bribery probe. The company will also employ independent monitoring procedures for the next two years as a further measure.

$52 million of the payment will be criminal penalty to settle the probe which dates back to 2017.
