Announcing the Launch of Our Modern Slavery Global Webinar Series

COVID-19 has put all companies under pressure, and one of the ways we are seeing that manifest itself is in a degree of unpreparedness to meet new reporting obligations for modern slavery.

The pandemic has greatly disrupted supply chains which creates a heightened level of risk from a modern slavery perspective if those risks have not been properly managed.

In order to better serve our global clients, we are pleased to announce the launch of our global webinar series on topics relating to assessing, managing, and continuously monitoring modern slavery risks within your global supply chains.

It will consist of four webinars running from December to April 2021, with the first webinar taking place on Thursday 10th December at 14:00-15:00 (AEDT), led by Abigail McGregor, Norton Rose Fulbright Partner as we take you through the key requirements to keep you on track for your reporting pursuant to the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth).

Join our series of webinars to learn more about

  • The impact of COVID -19 on supply chains – locally and globally (halt to manufacturing in some countries, quarantine restrictions on vessels carrying products etc)
  • Analyse statements that have already been submitted – What does good look like, what does great look like
  • What trends are we seeing?
  • How can we do better – lessons learnt
