Malaysia: Prosecution calls its final witness in Rosmah’s corruption trial

The prosecution today called its last witness to take the stand as the corruption trial involving Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor enters its final stage before the judge rules whether she should be called to enter her defence.

The witness, Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) investigating officer Nor Nabilah Mohd Aziman, 30, completed her testimony in about two hours this afternoon.

She will be cross-examined by Rosmah’s lawyers tomorrow and they have indicated to Judge Mohamed Zaini Mazlan that their questions would take no longer than one day.

Once this is completed, another witness, former Education Minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid, will be recalled for further cross-examination by the defence.
