Malaysia: NRD officer pleads not guilty to three bribery charges

An assistant registration officer pleaded not guilty to three charges of bribery at the Session Court here involving bribes amounting to RM16,000.

The accused, Mohd Fazdhly Abdul Razak, 42, made the plea after the charges were read to him before judge Kamarudin Kamsun on Tuesday (Sept 22).

According to the charge sheet, Mohd Fazdhly, who works at the National Registration Department in Putrajaya, requested a bribe from a 31-year-old man who works at a grocery store.
