A federal judge in Ohio has delayed Wednesday's start of the corruption trial of a former county commissioner pending a challenge to an indictment. Judge Sara Lioi (LEE'-loy) in Akron ruled Monday that the start of the trial of former Cuyahoga (ky-uh-HOH'-guh) County Commissioner Jimmy Dimora will be delayed until Jan. 27. A jury was selected last week. Dimora's attorneys are challenging the first of two corruption indictments against him. He claims two indictments amount to double jeopardy, or being prosecuted twice for the same crime.
