A Kansas City, Kan., man was arrested and charged Tuesday in his alleged role in a growing bribery scheme involving a former Driver’s License Bureau worker in Johnson County.
Prosecutors charged Jose Conde-Valles, 39, with three counts each of bribery, making a false writing and felony use of a driver’s license.
Conde-Valles is unofficially the 51st suspect to be charged in the scheme, which was allegedly carried out by Samantha Moore, a driver’s license examiner. Most defendants charged in the case have been undocumented workers who saw Moore for fraudulent driver’s licenses.
