United States: FBI Probes Suspected Bribery in Russian Uranium Sales to U.S.
Russian nuclear executive Vadim Mikerin got a call last October at his Washington-area office telling him that his car alarm was blaring.
The caller didn’t identify himself, and when Mr. Mikerin went downstairs to the parking garage he found nothing amiss.
But before he could return to work, according to court filings related to a continuing federal probe, he was confronted by U.S. law-enforcement agents, who hustled him into an officethat Mr. Mikerin had thought to be vacant.
