A doctor who took part in a long-running bribes-for-test referrals scheme is now headed to prison.
Federal prosecutors say 52-year-old Anthony DeLuca, of Point Pleasant, was sentenced Wednesday to one year and a day in prison. He also will have to serve one year of supervised release once he’s freed.
DeLuca pleaded guilty last November to accepting bribes. He has practices in Wall and Howell townships in Monmouth County.
