Two former senior executives from Singapore Technologies (ST) Marine Limited were charged in the State Courts on Wednesday (Jul 1) for corruption. A total of seven former ST Marine executives have been charged for their offences.
Former ST Marine chief operating officer Han Yew Kwang faces eight counts of engaging in a conspiracy to corruptly give gratification of about S$790,772 to agents of ST Marine’s customers. Of the former ST Marine executives implicated, his total amount is the highest so far.
Former ST Marine president of commercial business Tan Mong Seng faces one count of engaging in a conspiracy to corruptly give gratification of about S$43,721 to Pyo Sei Jin, an agent of Hyundai Engineering and Construction Limited.
