Former Inspector General of Nepal Police (IGP) Motilal Bohara has been convicted for corrupting. The Special Court has on Tuesday convicted Bohora issued a verdict slapping 18-month jail sentence and a penalty of Rs 2.683 million along the confiscation of property of same value. The full bench of Special Court Justices Gauri Bahadur Karki, Om Prakash Mishra and Kedar Prasad Chalise issued the verdict. According to the verdict Bohara had earned Rs 26.834578 illegally which was disproportionate to his sources of income.
