The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) filed a corruption case at the Special Court on Monday against former Nepal Oil Corporation Managing Director Gopal Khadka on charge of amassing illegal property worth Rs186.6 million.
CIAA said that it is one of the largest corruption cases related to illegal property in the country. Khadka faces a long list of corruption allegations during his career in different government offices.
CIAA Spokesperson Rameshwor Dangal told the Post that it is probably one of the largest corruption cases ever filed by the anti-graft body in connection to the amassing of illegal property.
