A former plant inspector with a private company pleaded not guilty at the Sessions Court here yesterday to 21 counts of corruption and money laundering amounting to RM375,000 between January 2006 and March 2010. T. Gauthaman, 43, from Bukit Beruang here, faced seven charges under the Anti-Corruption Act 1997 of receiving gratification amounting to RM341,922 as a reward to help Soo Min Inc to obtain, supply and repair works for the Bellows equipment at BP Chemical (M) Sdn Bhd. (Bellows is a device for delivering pressurised air in a controlled quantity to a controlled location). He was alleged to have received between RM1,500 and RM40,000 between Feb 3, 2006, and Feb 2, 2007, at the main Maybank branch in the state at No 114 & 114a, Jalan Graha Peladang, Jalan Hang Tuah.
