Kosovo: Alleged corruption lands two ex-culture ministers in trouble
Two former Kosovo culture ministers were indicted on Friday over alleged misuse of funds because they approved government grants for two movies that were never made, local prosecutors said, cited AFP. Astrit Haraqija and Valton Beqiri were indicted "as they are suspected of abuse of power" by granting two local movie companies 388,000 euros (511,766 dollars) to shoot two movies that were never made, Kosovo's prosecutor's office said in a statement. Prosecutors also charged two owners of the movie companies who were under contract to make the films.
