Home Affairs Minister Tjahjo Kumolo announced on Thursday (03/03) that he will suspend the ministry’s head of financial administration and asset management, after the latter was named a graft suspect.
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) named Dudy Jocom, who also serves as general manager of state-owned construction company Hutama Karya, and Budi Rahmat Kurniawan suspects in a graft case relating to the Institute of Public Administration’s (IPDN) construction project in Agam, West Sumatra.
The Rp 125 billion ($9.46 million) endeavor, which was funded by the Home Affairs Ministry budget in 2011, reportedly incurred up to Rp 34 billion in state losses.
