w.hindustantimes.com on November 18, 2011 reported that the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), on Thursday, trapped senior inspector of Vile Parle police station NJ Patil while he was accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000. He had demanded this as his commission for approving the renting out of a tea stall in the area. According to the ACB, the complainant in the case is in the business of purchase-sale of hutments in the area. He had recently purchased a tea-stall in the Sanjay Gandhi Nagar slums and wanted to rent it out after renovating it.
