A former building supervisor is due to enter a plea today over a charge of accepting about HK$300,000 in bribes from a security guard for helping her to get a promotion. Michael Day Ellenburger, 50, formerly employed by Hong Kong Pacific Management, was charged on Wednesday. He will appear in Kowloon City Magistrates' Courts to enter a plea. Ellenburger was posted to Hilton Towers in Tsim Sha Tsui to supervise day-shift security guards, including Chan Lai-yau.
