The Federal Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (FEACC) announced its preparation to receive reports and complaints of alleged acts of corruption in private institutions and established to serve the public from the public coffer.
This will be done as per the revised law, Proclamation No. 883/2015, which stipulates that the private sector, particularly those who administer assets collected from the public or collected for public purposes are within the jurisdiction of the Commission.
Before the revision of this law, the jurisdiction of the Commission was limited to government offices and government enterprises only.
