By joining the Ethical Alliance as a corporate member organisations are able to send a clear message to third parties, staff, clients, regulators and investors openly promoting ethics and anti-corruption compliance.
The corporate membership program goes further by streamlining third party on-boarding, training, due diligence, on-going monitoring, and benchmarking. Essentially membership provides organisations with a well-documented defensible response against allegations linked to corruption and bribery in their third party network. This helps ensure third parties comply with not just the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and UK Bribery Act (UKBA) but also with local laws and regulations along with the member organisations own standards, codes and policies.
The Ethical Alliance Corporate Anti-Corruption Program is comprised of three elements to give member organisations a multi-layered third party compliance defence:
- Onboarding, and ongoing due diligence for 100% of a member organisation’s third parties
- Training and certification for both a member’s third parties and staff, both online and, if needed, face-to-face in local language
- Compliance & Ethics Benchmarking for both the member organisation and their third parties
