China: Tibetan official under probe for suspected discipline violations

Tashi Gyatso, deputy secretary general of the government of southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region, is being investigated for suspected severe violations of discipline and law, the regional anti-graft authorities said Monday.

Tashi Gyatso is also a member of the leading Party members’ group of the regional government’s general office, according to the region’s discipline inspection commission and supervisory commission.
